When you have employees working from home and no longer together under one roof, communication becomes more important than ever.

Slack is a tool that was designed to help teams communicate. It’s a bit like a mixture between text and email. Adding another communication tool may seem like a further complication right now, but the key benefit of Slack is that it groups your conversations.

Within the app (phone or desktop) you can create channels for each project, business function, job or team. This replaces long email threads and it makes it a bit easier when you need to go back to find information, compared to searching through past emails.
