The Complimentary Client Review Meeting

As a valued client, you’ll receive at least one Complimentary Client Review (CCR). In fact, this is an annual event for a number of our clients. The CCR is an opportunity for you to set and review your goals and gives you clarity around the actions you need to take to achieve those goals. It also stimulates strategic discussion and identifies burning issues, opportunities and challenges so that you respond effectively. And of course, it’s an opportunity for our Team to identify greater tax efficiencies and asset protection.

Business Planning

A great business planning process gets to the heart and soul of your business. Upon completion of 'pre-work' we'll have a greater understanding of your vision and core values in order to facilitate a four hour planning session to help you create a clear Business Plan.

The outcome of this service is to identify and prioritise goals, both short term and long term, create strategies to achieve your goals, enable you to review actual performance against targets and establish a 90 day action plan to address immediate and critical issues.

Importantly, this process eliminates a factor that is all too common in business – procrastination.

Succession Planning

A robust Succession Plan takes a minimum of 3 - 5 years from initial planning to implementation.  To extract maximum value from your business you must have one in place. Succession Planning allows you to transition your business to new ownership in a managed and systematic way; reducing stress while achieving a greater outcome.

We will work with you to develop your Succession Plan by identifying your succession options, clarifying your objectives - considering business, personal and family expectations - and defining the steps you’ll take to achieve them. Lack of planning can cause unnecessary stress and compromise your sale price, client relationships and your overall business reputation.

Whether you want to sell, pass on to a family member or simply take a more passive role, taking time to plan now will benefit all involved.

The Organisational Review

Many businesses do not have absolute clarity around their team’s defined roles and responsibilities. This often results in owners wearing too many ‘hats’, meaning they have precious little time to spend in a strategic sense, or on high-level activities that create real value for the business.

An Organisational Review will help you to build a functional Organisation Chart, visually defining departments, functions, roles and responsibilities. We will help you to structure your business so that it is more sustainable, scalable, and, ultimately, saleable.

Cashflow Management

Cashflow planning is best practice in any business and critical to survival and growth. Setting targets and monitoring your actual cashflow against your forecast will enable you to predict large cash outflows and respond to changes in your business.

Whether your bank has requested a Cashflow Forecast or not, every business owner needs an understanding of cash and liquidity for better decision making.  All businesses should have a Cashflow Forecast in place at the beginning of the new financial year.  Having said that, we can prepare one at any time.

Financial Awareness Coaching

We’ll help you to understand your business better, enabling you to better manage your cash flow. Good management decisions rely on a sound understanding of the financial implications for your business. This service involves meeting with us every two months to discuss your financial results, culminating in you learning to produce and interpret your own customised financial reports on a monthly basis.

Quarterly Coaching

As a business owner you can at times feel alone and unsupported, spending little time working on your business and trapped in the day to day technical aspects. Our Quarterly Coaching service provides you with increased accountability and support so that you achieve the results you want from your business. The outcomes include increased profitability and cash flow, customised reporting templates to measure actual performance against forecasts and access to an expert sounding board to ensure you continue working towards your goals.

Trust Review

The robustness of family trusts is coming under considerable scrutiny as a result of the recent Law Commission review, resulting in a massive wakeup call for Trustees. Our Trust Review service examines your Trust set up, identifies any administration gaps, and ensures your Trust is compliant with legislation and that Trustees are meeting their obligations.

We’ve developed a number of resources and templates to help you to understand this complicated topic and to help you develop an effective Memorandum of Wishes. Most importantly, this service provides a framework to ensure your Trust is meeting its objectives.

Life Organiser

The Life Organiser has been designed to provide peace of mind that your affairs are in order and to minimise stress for your loved ones in the event of disability or death.  It is a structured central register for you to complete, covering a raft of personal, financial, property, insurance and business details that should be documented and stored securely.

You can simply purchase the Life Organiser and complete it yourself or have a review meeting where we’ll manage the process and advise you of any actions we think would benefit you and your estate. Upon completion of your Life Organiser we’ll store an electronic copy for you – to be reviewed annually when we meet to discuss your financials.

Proactive Accounting Meeting

If you’re keen to improve your business performance and financial results but don’t feel you are being supported enough by your current accountant – give us a call. We’ll arrange a complimentary Proactive Accounting Meeting to review your unique situation and discuss how we may be able to support you.

During the meeting we’ll identify your burning issues, opportunities and potential tax efficiencies, and establish goals and strategies to achieve them. We’ll also have a strategic discussion around the current and future direction of your entities.

Following the meeting, if required, we’ll prepare a proposal for services, with all costs priced upfront, whether this be strictly for Business Development work and / or compliance.

Key Performance Indicator (KPI) Improvement Coaching

We’ve developed this service to enable business owners to understand the key drivers in their business. The better you understand your business, the easier it will be to increase your profits and free up cashflow.

First, we’ll help you establish what your key drivers are. These may be financial (e.g. gross profit margin), or non-financial (e.g. customer satisfaction ratings). We’ll teach you how to measure each KPI and set improvement targets. Once you’re confident measuring each KPI we’ll provide monthly coaching to help you implement a tactical plan focusing on the business processes and behavioural changes required to ensure improvement.

Investing a little time each week and making simple changes can dramatically improve your KPIs, thus positively impacting your business performance and personal life.

Core Values Development

Core Values are the essence of a company’s identity; they support the vision and shape the culture of an organisation. We’ve developed an effective service that allows you to create Core Values for your business – providing a great foundation and guide for the way your Team interacts with clients and each other.

Attendees will complete pre-work to get thinking about their values and vision for the business so that everyone is prepared to gain maximum benefit from the 3-4 hour facilitated session. We’ll then guide you through our structured process to create up to five Core Values with definitions which will underpin the expectations of behaviour within your organisation.

Core Values will make leading and managing a Team and client expectations a lot easier. When your Team live and breathe your Core Values you’re more likely to achieve your business goals. As Peter Drucker once said – ‘Culture eats strategy for breakfast.’
