Be aware of Phishing Scams!

There remains a number of phishing scams doing the rounds at the moment with the latest trying to impersonate Xero software. This follows on from a number of IRD scams.
Any invoice you receive from Xero will always include an invoice number, sender and recipient in the subject line e.g. Invoice I000560 from PKF Bredin McCormack Rewcastle Ltd for Joe Bloggs.
Another way to check is to hover over the blue hyperlink, to ensure the address it will take you to if you click it matches the hyperlink itself.
If you are ever unsure of the legitimacy of an email, please get in touch with the sender. Treat every email with suspicion and never click on any links or provide credit card details without verifying its source. If it is too good to be true it usually is!
